Sesi Oluwaseun Whingan, the newly inaugurated lawmaker representing Badagry at the Federal House of Representatives has promised to bring positive developments to his representatives.
Whingan was at St. Leo’s Catholic Church, Ikoga-Zebbe, Badagry for his Thanksgiving Service and Victory Party on Sunday, June 25th.

He noted that the decision to bring his constituents together was to appreciate them and make them feel the presence of governance.
The elated lawmaker also appreciated that his victory had the highest recorded ever in the ancient town due to the love showed to him.
In his words:
The election that brought me recorded the highest votes in Badagry because of the love my constituents have for me.
I can’t do otherwise than to come back after the inauguration of the 10th National Assembly to appreciate them for believing in me.
How Whingan Hopes to Revive the Economy of Badagry Bring More Projects
While noting that the coastal town has long been neglected hence little developments and less government projects, Whingan promises to promote policies that will revive Badagry.
I will promote policy that will revive the economy of Badagry and lobby for more projects and physical presence of Lagos State and Federal Government in the city.
I will promote policy that will bring jobs to unemployed youths in Badagry.
I will bring dividends of democracy to Badagry and I want to assure them that under the leadership of President Bola Tinubu, Badagry will be great, there will be massive growth and development.”
Catholic Clergy Charges Whingan On
Addressing the congregation on the occasion of the thanksgiving, Rev. Francis Ogunmola, the clergy-in-charge, urged the lawmaker to have a divine connection with God in order to succeed.
Ogunmola said this was the only way that would make him succeed in his new assignment.
He advised him not to fear while defending his constituents in his new assignment because it was God that gave him the new assignment.
The clergyman prayed that God would always be with him to succeed in his new assignment.
Why The Crowd Turned Out to Receive Whingan – LASU Lecturer, Dansu
The event had a huge turnout to appreciate youngest lawmaker in the history of Badagry and was connected with his charisma.
According to Dr. Francis Dansu, a Lecturer at Lagos State University, Ojo, he said the massive turnout was to assure him that people would always be with him.
Dansu, who is also a member of his strategic team said the lawmaker also gave the assurance that he would not run away from them.
How Sesi Whingan Hosted The Badagry Community
After the church ceremony, a victory party was held at Nigeria French Language Village field in Ajara.
The victory party had in attendance dignitaries across Badagry including traditional rulers, Baales, the state lawmakers, APC chieftains and residents who all trooped out to grace the occasion and cheer on the son of the land.
