How Communication Has Evolved With WhatsApp

The WhatsApp Messenger popularly referred to as WhatsApp is a discussion platform for billions of people. It has more than 2 billion persons in over 180 countries using  it to stay in touch with friends and family as well as business purposes.

First launched in 2009, WhatsApp started with texts which later became obsolete as the instant messaging feature was adopted.

Later on, WhatsApp added a new feature—the ability to send photos. In 2015, GIF images became also a new feature and blew up the internet.

Then in 2014, WhatsApp was bought by Facebook and had since been a part of the Meta company.

Concept of the Feature to Use WhatsApp Without Internet Explained

With the new update rolling out, users will be able to connect up to four devices all at once without needing the main smartphone where the line is connected to. All of these connections will be also without Internet.

At the moment, the WhatsApp dev team is testing this feature which will enable the users to use any device such as a laptop even when their smartphone is not available.

Currently, the test mode has been rolled out and users who can access it can now enjoy the feature before it will be rolled out world-wide to all users.

Notably, WhatsApp only works with the smartphone having Internet connection then another device with Internet such as a laptop will then sync as well in order to work simultaneously.
