Djokovic’s win gave him a shout to be referred to as the greatest tennis player of all time after seeing off Norwegian 7-6, 6-3, 7-5 on clay.
His win also meant he has overtaken Rafael Nadal’s 22 Grand Slam titles and is now level with Serena Williams.

According to Djokovic, more is expected of him:
“Now I want to win Wimbledon. Before that I am going to celebrate with my team and family. I am very motivated to continue to make history. I am not finished in my career.”
Reacting to the claims that he is the greatest, the Serb reacted thus:
‘I don’t want to say I’m the greatest because I don’t want to be disrespectful to others. I leave those kind of discussions to someone else.
I know the other guys feel a lot of pressure coming into best-of-five matches against me, and that’s how I want them to feel.’
