Emmanuel Amunike: I Am Willing and Ready to Coach the Super Eagles

Former Super Eagles International Emmanuel Amunike has confirmed his interest in coaching the national team if the opportunity comes around to him.

Aminike coached the Nigeria national U-17 football team to win the World Cup in 2015 before being appointed as the Head Coach of the Tanzanian National team.

In an interview with Onyiyechi Obaroh Ogu of News Central, the current assistant coach of the Super Eagles said:

I never coached Super Eagles, I only assisted. But if an opportunity comes calling for me to coach Nigeria I will accept.

Nigeria is my country and we are are all part of it… It is a well development.

Aminike is actually turning out to be most fans favourite as answers from different sports journalists keep him tops.

In 1994, Emmanuel Amunike was named as the African Men’s Footballer of the Year.
