Issues With The Labour Party Recently
After giving a good account of their statesmanship at the 2023 General Elections, the Labour Party had been plagued with one issue or the other.
The National Chairman of the party, Julius Abure, was recently suspended by some persons which the national secretariat had disowned and then confirmed that the Chairman is still on course.
Also, the Lagos State chapter had it’s own share as the State Chairman, Kayode Salako, was yanked off with the Deputy Chairman, Dayo Ekong, taking over the mandate after Salako was expunged.
As if that’s not done with, the presidential candidate, Peter Obi, while in the UK during the Easter holidays was detained at the Heathrow Airport on identity issues with a fake viral picture also showing how Abike Dabiri-Erewa came to his rescue with an Immigration officer.
